Named “Best Pianist/Keyboardist” by the Cleveland Free Times, Rob Kovacs has been widely hailed for his shape-shifting musical experimentalism, spanning history-making classical feats and audacious recreations of video game soundtracks to crafting mesmerizing indie rock both as bandleader and as a solo artist. Since his debut solo album release in 2021, a brave and bittersweet song cycle written in the years following an intensely impactful romantic relationship, Kovacs has gone on to partner with Emperia Records to release a progressive synthwave soundtrack for VR game STRAYLIGHT, create sheet music arrangements for both originals and VGM covers as a signature artist through MusicNotes, and become a Twitch Partner as a music streamer as well as receive recognition as a composer and performer at Cons across the country.
